一、培养目标
Ⅰ. Educational Objectives
本专业培养具有良好政治素质和道德修养,德、智、体、美全面发展,掌握高分子及复合材料的合成与改性、塑料及复合材料模具设计和高分子及复合材料成型加工等领域的基础知识、基本理论和技术,适应行业发展和地方经济建设需要,具备较强的工程实践能力和创新意识,能够在高分子及复合材料相关领域从事新材料开发、工艺及设备设计、塑料模具设计、技术开发与改造、生产、经营管理、产品营销及服务等工作的高素质应用型人才。
This specialty aims to cultivate application-oriented high-level talents, who will be fully developed morally, intellectually, physically, and aesthetically, who will be qualified for the industrial development and local economic construction with innovative spirits and practical working ability. Students of our specialty will have a good knowledge and lay a solid foundation in basic theory and skills of the synthesis and modification of polymers polymer composites, plastic and composite mold design, and processing of polymeric and composite materials, so that they can be qualified for the jobs of developing novel polymeric materials, process and equipment design, plastic mold design, scientific research, technology development and transformation, operating and manufacturing management, and product marketing and services, etc. in the fields of polymerization, composite materials, and other related polymeric fields.
二、培养要求
Ⅱ. Training Requirements
1.本专业毕业生应具有如下知识、能力和素质:
(1)具备良好的政治素质、身心素质、人文素养和职业道德,以及强烈的社会责任感;
(2)掌握从事本专业所需的数学、物理等自然科学基础知识、经济和管理知识,具备从事本专业必需的机械、电工与电子技术、计算机应用等方面的基本知识和技能;
(3)掌握高分子及复合材料的合成、配方和改性方法,以及材料组成、结构和性能的关系,掌握高分子及复合材料成型设备和成型工艺基本原理和基本技能,掌握成型模具设计的基本原理与方法,具有至少能够熟练使用两种设计应用软件的能力;
(4)掌握高分子及复合材料合成及改性的基本方法及技术,并能够运用所学专业知识对所得结果进行分析和解释;
(5)具有在高分子及复合材料成型模具设计和成型加工工艺等方面进行设计、研发、技术经济分析、生产经营管理、产品营销及服务的初步能力;
(6)具有综合运用高分子材料及工程领域的科学理论和技术手段分析并解决工程实际问题的初步能力,并能在工程设计中考虑社会、安全、法律、文化及环境等制约因素;
(7)掌握运用现代信息技术熟练进行文献检索、资料查询等获取知识的方法,具有适应高分子材料与工程领域科学技术不断发展的终身学习意识和自主学习能力;
(8)具有创新意识和对新产品、新工艺、新技术进行研发和设计的初步能力;
(9)具备良好的口头和书面表达能力、沟通能力,能够熟练掌握一门外语进行沟通和交流;
(10)具有良好的团队意识、合作精神和一定的组织管理能力,以及较强的环境适应和竞争能力。
1. The graduates of this specialty are expected to possess the following knowledge, capabilities and qualities:
(1) Having a good political quality with a healthy body and sound mind; having a good humanistic literacy with a sense of social responsibility, professional ethics;
(2) Mastering relevant basic knowledge in mathematics, physics, economics and management required for this specialty, and having necessary basic knowledge and skills in mechanics, electronics and electrotechnics, computer application;
(3) Mastering synthesis, formula, modified method of polymer and composite materials; knowing the relationship among the structure, property and composition; mastering fundamental process theory and knowledge of polymer processing equipments and technologies; mastering fundamental design theory and knowledge of polymer mould, skills in mould design, capable of using at least two kinds of software skillfully;
(4) Mastering fundamental approaches and techniques in synthesis and modification of polymeric and composite materials, capable of using the acquired knowledge to analyze and interpret data results;
(5) Having the initial capability in design, research and development, technical and economical analysis, production and operation management, product marketing and services in the field of mold design and process technology of polymeric and composite materials;
(6) Having the comprehensive ability of using the polymer material and engineering theory and technology to analyze and solve practical engineering problems, capable of considering such issues as social, healthy and safety, legal, cultural and environmental factors in engineering design;
(7) Mastering an ability of retrieval and querying information through modern information technology, having an ability of lifelong learning and self-learning with the developing of polymer materials and engineering science and technology;
(8) Having innovative consciousness and the initial capability of research and development and design for the novel products, novel processes and novel technologies;
(9) Having good communication skills especially in speaking and writing, fluent in at least one foreign language for technical communication;
(10) Having good consciousness of teamwork and cooperation with organizational management, and having a good adaptive ability to the environment and a good competitiveness.

五、学制与学位
Ⅴ. Duration of Program and Degree
学制:四年,按照学分制管理机制,实行三至六年弹性学习年限。
Duration:Four Years, In accordance with the credit system management mechanism, flexible learning years from three to six years,is implemented.
学位:符合《太阳集团tyc539学士学位授予工作细则》规定的毕业生授予工学学士学位。
Awarded Degree: The graduate whoever meets with the provisions of ‘Bachelor’s Degree Granting Regulations of Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology’ will be conferred the Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering.
