Program for Specialty of Materials Forming and Control Engineering
一、培养目标
Ⅰ. Educational Objectives
本专业培养德、智、体、美全面发展,具备材料加工工程、机械设计与制造、自动化控制等学科的基本理论和基础知识,能在模具设计与制造、焊接技术与自动化、型材成型及控制领域从事设计、制造、科技开发、应用研究、运行管理和经营销售等方面工作的,具有创新精神和实践能力的高素质应用型人才。
This specialty aims at cultivating the application-oriented high-level engineering talents, who will be fully developed morally, intellectually, physically, and aesthetically. Students of this specialty are expected to master the basic knowledge and practical abilities in material processing engineering, machine design and manufacture, and automation, capable of creative spirit and practical ability. With these qualities, they could be qualified for the jobs of machine design, manufacture, scientific and technological development, application research, operational management and marketing in the fields of mold designing and manufacturing, welding, technology, automation, material forming and control.

Ⅱ. Training Requirements
1. 本专业毕业生应具有如下知识、能力和素质:
(1)具有人文社会科学素养、社会责任感和工程职业道德,能正确认识本专业对社会和客观世界的影响;
(2)掌握从事材料加工工程、机械工程工作所需的数学、自然科学以及管理学等方面的知识;
(3)系统掌握本专业必须的材料加工工程、机械设计与制造、自动化控制等学科方面的工程基础知识和本专业的基本理论及工程实践知识,了解本专业的前沿发展现状和趋势;
(4)能够灵活运用所学知识在模具设计与制造、焊接技术与自动化、型材成型及控制等领域进行材料选用、生产工艺设计、设备选择、设备的设计与制造、新产品的研究与开发,具备较强的专业综合实验能力、专业技术实践能力和综合应用所学知识解决复杂工程问题的能力;
(5)具备创新意识和创新思维,掌握基本的创新方法;
(6)具备文献检索、资料查询的能力,具备计算机及信息技术的应用能力;
(7)具有良好的口头表达和人际沟通与交往能力,具有一定的英语口语,翻译和写作能力,能在团队中积极发挥作用,具备一定的组织管理能力;
(8)具备终身学习的意识,具有较强的自学能力和适应专业发展所必需的能力;
(9)具有健康的体魄和良好的心理素质。
The graduates of this specialty are expected to acquire the following knowledge, abilities and qualities:
(1) Having the humanistic and social science literacy with a sense of social responsibility and engineering professional ethics, having a correct understanding of the impact of the specialty to society and external world;
(2) Having the relevant knowledge in mathematics, natural science, economics and management;
(3) Having a systematic mastery of the basic technical theories required for this specialty, including material processing engineering, machine design, machine manufacture, automation engineering and basic theory and engineering practice; knowing the development status and future trend in this specialty;
(4) Having the ability of using the relevant knowledge to do material selection, technological design, equipment selection, design and manufacture of the equipment, research and development of new .

五、学制与学位
Ⅴ. Duration of Program and Degree
学制:四年,按照学分制管理机制,实行三至六年弹性学习年限。
Duration:Four Years, In accordance with the credit system management mechanism, flexible learning years from three to six years,is implemented.
学位:符合《太阳集团tyc539学士学位授予工作细则》规定的毕业生授予工学学士学位。
Awarded Degree: The graduate whoever meets with the provisions of ‘Bachelor’s Degree Granting Regulations of Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology’ will be conferred the Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering.
